About Genevieve.
As a clinical psychologist I aim to create a warm, welcoming therapy environment where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Developing a genuine connection with my clients is an important part of my work, and I believe that feeling safe and comfortable in therapy helps create meaningful change. My style is relaxed, compassionate, and collaborative, and I often incorporate warmth and humour to help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and needs. My areas of interest include supporting neurodivergent individuals and families, particularly those who are autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, and OCD. I also specialise in helping neurotypical children, adolescents, and young adults navigate life's transitions, and help build resilience and confidence along the way. I commonly work with presentations such as anxiety, OCD, and school/ study stress. I am also trained in the assessment and diagnosis of ADHD and specific learning disorders (e.g. Dyslexia), and how we can best support the challenges that can come with these throughout different settings.
In my spare time you’ll find me spending time with my partner and daughter, renovating a house, with a cup of coffee in my hand, or spending time in nature.
If you feel my style of practice resonates for you and your current challenges, please reach out as I am eager to connect with you here at Glowing Minds Psychology.
