About Genevieve.

Hi, I’m Genevieve (but feel free to call me Gen!). I’m a clinical psychologist passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults through their unique challenges.

After completing my Honours and Clinical Masters in psychology on the Sunshine Coast, I’m now based in Adelaide to stay close to my family and friends.

My areas of interest include supporting neurodivergent young people (6+), particularly those who are autistic or have ADHD, using a neuroaffirming approach that focuses on embracing their unique strengths and perspectives. I also help those navigate challenges such as anxiety, OCD, depression, panic attacks. I'm especially interested in helping adolescents and young adults navigate life's transitions, building resilience and confidence along the way.

I am trained and passionate about the assessment and diagnosis of ADHD and specific learning disorders (e.g. Dyslexia), and how we can best support the challenges that may come with these.

I aim to create a warm, engaging environment in therapy—while we work through challenges, I believe we can also have some fun! I use a range of evidence-based techniques to tailor each session to the person I’m working with, drawing from

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT)

  • Mindfulness

  • Neuroaffirming Practices

  • Attachment theory
